NEINVER betreedt de Nederlandse markt met Amsterdam The Style Outlets
De eerste fase van Amsterdam The Style Outlets zal, met een bruto verhuurbaar oppervlak van 19.000 vierkante meter, ruimte bieden aan circa 115 winkels en 1.450 parkeerplaatsen. Het outlectcentrum opent naar verwachting in 2017 zijn deuren onder de rook van Amsterdam. Duurzaamheid is een belangrijke factor in het ontwerp van het outletcentrum, dat gebouwd wordt op het voormalig industrieterrein Sugar City.

Amsterdam. July 29, 2014. NEINVER, Europe’s second-largest operator of outlet centres, announces the name of their new Dutch outlet today: Amsterdam The Style Outlets. The company will develop the outlet centre that will be located in Halfweg on the former industrial area of Sugar City, near Amsterdam.
NEINVER´s newest outlet will house a retail area of 18,000sqm, around 115 units and 1,450 parking lots. The complex will include leisure and restaurant areas of over 1,000 sqm with squares, terraces, corridors, green zones, kids and family areas.
This future outlet centre can be reached easily from the A200 via the N200, and the Amsterdam-Haarlem train will have a station just in front of the centre. It is expected to open in 2017.

Our objective will be to give the Dutch customer unique outlet experience at an excellent location in the proximity of Amsterdam and several highways. NEINVER International pipeline
Amsterdam The Style Outlets belongs to the pipeline properties are planned in line with NEINVER’s business strategy, based on the Group’s continual expansion in the European outlet sector by entering new markets and consolidating its leadership in countries where it already operates. In fact, the three pipeline outlet centres will add 62,500 sqm of gross leasable area to the 311,600 sqm of GLA already managed by the Group in this sector across Europe.
“This ambitious pipeline plan will allow us to step up to the top of the outlet sector in Europe. At the end of 2016, we will manage nearly 400,000 sqm of outlet area and 18 sustainable and stylish premium-brand outlet centres that will consolidate NEINVER as the foremost European outlet operator”, said Sebastian Sommer, Business Development Director of NEINVER.
Additionally, the Group plans to develop a new centre in Werl, in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany. Werl The Style Outlets will feature 17,000 sq m of GLA, 100 stores and 1,300 parking spaces. The project has a catchment area of 18 million people and potential customers within a 90-minute drive.
NEINVER has a solid knowledge of the German market, where it operates the largest outlet centre in the country, Zweibrücken The Style Outlets. The new Werl property will help solidify the Company’s leading position in this country.
In Spain, where the Group already leads the outlet sector, NEINVER will develop its first outlet centre in the Catalonia region, Viladecans The Style Outlets. This project is strategically located 10 minutes from Barcelona’s city centre by motorway, and 10 minutes from El Prat international airport and from the Seaport. The future outlet centre will feature top international luxury brands while offering an exceptional shopping experience and exclusive customer service.
Viladecans The Style Outlets, expected to be finished during first half of 2016, will have a unique design completely tailored to its surroundings, with architecture based on NEINVER’s well-known strict criteria of sustainable construction and energy efficiency. The project will house 26,500 sq m of GLA, 135 units and 1,400 parking spaces.
