Energy Building - Catering

History

The best-kept secret of the old sugar factory is the ‘Energy Building’. During the time of the sugar factory, power was generated here and the temperature was regulated.

The Pulp Shed used to be part of the Energy Building, but as more was sugar was pressed and the Pulp Shed outgrew itself, the Energy Building had to sacrifice space. The two gigantic boilers are original, although there used to be three of them.

Development

The later added Pulp Shed will be removed and the Energy Building restored to its former glory. What’s more, the Energy Building will be the centre of all catering service on the SugarCity site, with a large kitchen and high-quality restaurant.
