Haarlemmerstraatweg

At the start of the complex lies the Haarlemmerstraatweg. The area consists of three historical buildings: Swanenburg Castle and two adjacent warehouses.

Swanenburg Castle

Designated use: showroom, office space
At the core of the Haarlemmerstraatweg is the oldest building on the site: the Swanenburg Gemeenlandshuis. Pieter Post (1645) designed the historical building along with the nearby locks for the polder drainage board. On the building, known as a ‘castle’, can still be seen the coats of arms of the dike wardens of Rijnland: Dick Raef, Amelis van Bouchorst, Joem van Wijngaerden, J. van Wassenaer, Willem Ruychaver, Cornelis van der Hooch, J. van Lantscroon, J de Bruyn van Buytewech and A. a. van Wassenaer.

Warehouse 1

Designated use: office space
The loft-like, former storehouse immediately adjacent to Swanenburg Castle has a unique, industrial style (including a visible steel structure) and comprises three floors.

Warehouse 2

Next to Warehouse 1 is Warehouse 2, which has already been completed and is now occupied by two tenants: Kentie and Partners Architekten and Pepe Jeans. The industrial construction was preserved when renovating the Warehouse.
